Apple Rubber will be represented at a pair of major industry events this week — the Life Sciences Forum, which begins today and runs through Wednesday, April 9 in San Jose, Costa Rica, and the Greater New York Design2Part Show on Wednesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 10 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, N.J.
Dan Goehle (sales) and Lynne Parry (marketing) will attend the Life Sciences Forum for Apple Rubber. Kevin Oberholzer (engineering) and Tom Hammer (sales) are slated for New Jersey, and will be located in Booth 233.
The Life Sciences Forum, one of two Central American / Caribbean events that our team will attend in 2014, is “a hub for knowledge and discussion for the most important topics related to the sector, as well as a meeting point for new business ventures, making this event the most effective vehicle to network, share information, learn, discuss and most important, generate business,” according to the event’s website.
The keynote speaker is Jack Young, the director of the Qualcomm Ventures Life Fund.
The Life Sciences Forum is organized by the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency and is expected to draw over 400 representatives from the orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurovascular, endoscopic, esthetics, sports medicine, ENT, dental, urology, women´s health, and ophthalmology industries.
Here’s a look at last year’s event:
The Greater New York Design2Part show is one of six Design2Part shows on our 2014 calendar and is the largest design and contract manufacturing show in the metro New York area.
One of the more interesting aspects of the Design2Part shows is the fact that attendees are encouraged to bring engineering questions, project designs, drawings, and other collateral to the event for the industry experts to peruse. One might say that connections between exhibitors and potential customers are easier to build while literally building something together.
Over 300 industries will be represented at the Greater New York Design2Part show, including such fields as fabrication, metals, electronics, ceramics, and, of course, rubber, among many others.
