As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud of our continued advancement in elastomer innovation and the delivery of exceptional sealing solutions to our customers.
A major milestone was re-certifying our ISO 7 certified cleanroom as part of our commitment to serving the medical industry. Also, we expanded our LSR molding area in order to achieve our goal of ISO 8 for the new area.
Throughout the year, we had the pleasure of connecting with many of you at major industry events including CompaMed, MDM West, and Design-2-Part (D2P). These shows provided valuable opportunities to showcase our latest innovations and engage directly with engineers about their sealing challenges, helping us better understand and serve our customers’ evolving needs.
One of our most unique and rewarding projects this year involved supporting marine conservation research in Alaska’s Cook Inlet. When approached by researchers studying beluga whales, our team developed a specialized sealing solution for their underwater recording equipment. The harsh Alaskan environment had caused standard o-rings to fail, compromising valuable research data. Our engineers created a custom
o-ring that could withstand these extreme conditions, enabling the continued collection of crucial environmental research data. You can watch a mini-documentary about the project here.
Our commitment to growth extends beyond our facilities and capabilities. We’re delighted to welcome Grace Kulniszewski, our former intern, as a full-time project engineer. Her transition from intern to team member reflects our dedication to nurturing bright new talent and investing in the future of our industry. In addition, we have added Aurora Occhino as a Validation Engineer to continue our support of full IQOQPQ validations with our current customers and new projects.
Additionally, we continue to provide free online tools for o-ring selection and other kinds of technical support, ensuring our customers have easy access to the resources they need.
